Excel Specialty Corporation
has been making electrical components since the being of World
War II. The ideals that the company was founded on then are the
same we keep today.
Customer service is key, all the parts we build are
custom to suit each individual customer. We have been so
successful because of our highly experienced staff, most have
been here from the company's start. In the picture
to the left you can see our present foreman working on a machine
when he first started his career here at Excel. What all this
expertise adds up to is a superior product.
And our
company isn't the only thing with lots of history, our building
has a rich history as well. Above you can seen the building but
what you don't know is that all the brick in front was once all
pane glass. This is because the building was originally a Studebaker
showroom. Inside there was a large fountain in he center (you
can still see were it rested), the stairs leading up to the manger's
office are all marble with maghony handrails. The building itself
is a full city block long, the showroom existed in front while
the mechanic's shop was in the rear. The picture below shows one
of the famous Studebakers.
